Who We Are

We’re Founded on the
principles of diplomacy, dialogue, and unity

We empower people to unite around ideas that matter.

The International Ambassadors of Peace Network (IAPN) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to fostering peace, understanding, and cooperation on an international scale. Founded on the principles of diplomacy, dialogue, and unity, IAPN strives to create a more peaceful and harmonious world through a coordinated range of initiatives: peace conferences and summits, election monitoring missions, a dedicated Peace Training Institute (PTI), international peace awards, and the prestigious Miss Peace Ambassadors Global pageantry programme convened under our International Ambassadors of Peace Women's Wing.

IAPN operates as a network in the truest sense — a confederation of national chapters, regional structures, and a global secretariat, united by a shared charter and a shared conviction that ordinary citizens, traditional and religious leaders, diplomats, and young people alike each have a role to play as ambassadors of peace in their own communities and on the world stage.

  • Our Vision
  • Our Mission
  • Our Core Values

Vision

Tobe recognized globally as a leading diplomatic and international peace organization — accorded the respect, protocol standing, and institutional recognition befitting our sustained contribution to international peace, security, and humanitarian development.

Mission

To foster peace, understanding, and cooperation on an international scale by convening diplomats, traditional and political leaders, civil society, and youth around shared platforms for dialogue, capacity-building, and collective peace action — in direct alignment with the founding purposes of the United Nations.

Core values

Our work is guided by Diplomacy, engaging all parties with tact, protocol, and mutual respect; Dialogue, believing that sustained and honest conversation is the surest route to lasting peace; and Unity, building bridges across nations, faiths, cultures, and generations. We uphold Integrity by conducting our affairs, election monitoring, and awards with transparency and impartiality. We are committed to Youth Empowermen, investing in young people as the next generation of peace ambassadors and changemakers, while promoting Inclusivity by engaging monarchs and traditional institutions, government, civil society, the clergy, and grassroots communities alike.

History

Our History and Track Record

Since 2016, IAPN has built a growing footprint across Africa, Europe, and beyond, anchored by flagship programmes that have brought together heads of state and government (or their representatives), monarchs and traditional rulers, ambassadors and high commissioners, civil society, the clergy, and youth leaders in pursuit of a shared peace agenda.

Since 2016, we have built a growing global movement for peace, beginning with the launch of the National Miss Peace Ambassador programme in Ghana, which laid the foundation for what would become the Miss Peace Ambassadors Global movement. The platform has since expanded from Ghana to several other countries, cultivating a new generation of youth peace advocates. We have convened International Ambassadors of Peace Summits and Internal Peace and Security Summits in South Africa, Rwanda, Nigeria, Eswatini, and the United Kingdom, hosting more than 100 ambassadors and high commissioners across our summits and flagship events to date. Our platforms have also brought together distinguished monarchs and traditional rulers, heads of government and their representatives, civil society and religious leaders, clergy, and youth leaders as key stakeholders in advancing peace. Forthcoming is the transformation of our International Peace Summit into The Ambassadors of Peace Delegates Conference, introducing a formal awards component and, for the first time, bringing together delegates from every country globally, with the inaugural conference to be hosted in Canada.

An Enviable and Growing Record

In under a decade, IAPN has positioned itself as a credible convening platform where diplomatic protocol meets grassroots advocacy. Our summits have not been mere ceremonial gatherings; they have served as working conferences on peace, security, and youth empowerment, drawing sustained institutional and diplomatic participation across the countries we have visited.

Selected Testimonials & Commendations

IAPN's summits and programmes have drawn commendation from dignitaries, diplomats, and institutional partners who have witnessed our work firsthand. The following are direct testimonials and commendations from high-profile individuals, that have experienced us.

Our Vision for the Future: A Recognized Diplomatic and International Body

IAPN's long-term ambition is to be recognized — at the highest levels of the international community — as a diplomatic and international organization in its own right: one accorded the protocol standing, institutional partnerships, and formal recognition commensurate with its sustained record of peace and humanitarian work. The evolution of our summit series into The Ambassadors of Peace Delegates Conference, with global delegate participation and a formal Peace Awards component, marks a deliberate step in this direction — positioning IAPN to engage as a standing partner to governments, the United Nations system, and the diplomatic corps, rather than solely as an event convener.

Strategic Priorities Going Forward

Formalize and expand IAPN’s national chapter network to achieve truly global delegate representation.

Deepen institutional partnerships with government ministries, diplomatic missions, and multilateral

bodies.

Grow the Peace Training Institute into a recognized centre of excellence for peace and diplomacy

education.

Secure formal consultative or observer recognition with relevant international and regional bodies.

Expand the Miss Peace Ambassadors Global platform and Peace Awards as globally recognized honours.
