IAPN Women (International Ambassadors of Peace Network – Women) and Miss Peace Ambassador Global
Introduction & Background
The International Ambassadors of Peace Network (IAPN) is dedicated to fostering global peace, dialogue, and sustainable development. Recognizing that sustainable peace is inseparable from the active participation of women, and acknowledging the persistent under-representation of women in formal peace processes, the IAPN hereby establishes IAPN Women.
IAPN Women is founded on the unequivocal belief that women are not just victims of conflict but are powerful agents of peace. The wing is created to mobilize, empower, and amplify the voices of women and girls worldwide, transforming them into a unified, formidable force for peacebuilding. Our flagship initiative, the Miss Peace Ambassador Global (MPAG) pageant, is the pioneering, public-facing platform to manifest this vision, symbolizing our commitment to celebrating and institutionalizing women’s role in creating a more harmonious world.
2.0 Vision, Mission & Core Values
Primary Objectives
5.0 Flagship Program: Miss Peace Ambassador Global (MPAG)
MPAG is not a conventional beauty pageant. It is a leadership incubator and peace advocacy competition managed by IAPN Women.
6.0 Implementation Strategy & Timeline (Annual Cycle)
IAPN Women is a critical and timely intervention. By strategically combining grassroots mobilization, high-visibility advocacy through MPAG, and sustained leadership education, we aim to systematically address the gender gap in peacebuilding. We are not just creating a network; we are cultivating a movement. We invite governments, corporations, civil society, and all peace-loving individuals to partner with IAPN Women in this essential mission to empower the most powerful voice for peace: the voices of women, united.
