Inner Peace https://iapnglobal.org/inner-peace/ Wed, 23 Sep 2026 19:05:24 +0000 https://iapnglobal.org/?p=5211 Amb. Abukari Inbrana Awudu Lectures Students on Inner Peace at Crystal Galaxy College, AccraAccra, Ghana – 23rd September, 2026The Chairman of the International Ambassadors of Peace Network (IAPN), Amb. Abukari Inbrana Awudu, has delivered an inspiring lecture on Inner Peace to students of Crystal Galaxy College in Accra, Ghana, as part of IAPN’s Youth Peace Education Initiative.Speaking to a packed hall of students, Amb. Awudu stated that the quest for global peace will remain a mirage if we ignore the peace within us.Key lessons from his lecture:1. True Peace Starts Within the Individual
Amb. Abukari Inbrana Awudu emphasized that peace does not begin in parliament or at peace summits. It begins inside each person. True peace is not the absence of external noise or trouble, but the presence of internal calm, self-control, and harmony. A nation of people at war within themselves can never be at peace. Therefore, the first classroom for peace is the human heart.2. Inner Peace Creates a Ripple Effect of Kindness
He explained that inner peace is never private — it spreads. Like a ripple in water, when one person chooses to be calm, kind, and understanding, it affects everyone around them. A peaceful student creates a peaceful class. A peaceful family creates a peaceful community. He reminded students that kindness is contagious, and understanding begins when we ourselves are at peace.3. A Call to Spread Peace and Positivity
Amb. Awudu challenged the students to become active carriers of peace. “Do not wait to become leaders tomorrow to spread peace. Start now,” he said. He urged them to use their words to heal, not to hurt; to use their social media to inspire, not to insult; and to use their daily interactions to show tolerance, respect, and empathy.4. You Cannot Give What You Do Not Have
In his core message, he stated: “You cannot give what you do not have. So if you have peace, you can give peace.”He explained that many people want to give love, patience, and forgiveness, but their own hearts are filled with anger, bitterness, and anxiety. We can only pour out what we have stored inside. If we cultivate peace inside through forgiveness, gratitude, prayer, meditation, and positive thinking, we will naturally give peace to our world. The lecture concluded with an engaging interactive session where students shared how they deal with stress and academic pressure. The management and students of Crystal Galaxy College thanked Amb. Abukari Inbrana Awudu and the International Ambassadors of Peace Network (IAPN) for the thought-provoking engagement.

The world does not need more aid. The world needs more owners. https://iapnglobal.org/the-world-does-not-need-more-aid-the-world-needs-more-owners/ Wed, 23 Sep 2026 18:49:08 +0000 https://iapnglobal.org/?p=5208

For many years, we spoke about diplomacy only in conference halls and peace only as the absence of war.
But my observation across Ghana and Africa is this:
A hungry man cannot be a peace ambassador.
When a young person has no small business of his own, no daily income, no independence, he becomes vulnerable. He cannot be objective. He will praise any government that feeds him today, and insult any government that does not. He is easily used for violence, for election chaos, for division.
But when that same young person owns even a little business , a small shop, a water kiosk, a poultry farm, a tailoring table, a mobile money stand, something changes.

  1. He becomes independent. He does not beg.
  2. He begins to appreciate what government does roads, light, peace that allows his business to run.
  3. He becomes objective. He can speak truth to his community, to his country, and to the world, because his stomach is not controlling his voice.
    This is modern diplomacy
Peace is no longer only treaties. Peace is economic independence.
At International Ambassadors of Peace Network (IAPN), w
Promoting Justice, Understanding & Goodwill must include promoting small businesses for peace
We call it “Business for Peace”.
When we support a woman to own her small business, we are not just fighting poverty — we are building a peace ambassador in her community. She will protect the peace that protects her business.
An economically empowered citizen is a peaceful citizen. And a peaceful citizen builds a peaceful nation.
“The world does not need more aid. The world needs more owners.”
Let us build peace, one small business at a time.
